I had a wonderful stay at Riad La Caleche & Spa. The atmosphere was peaceful and the rooms were comfortable, but I had trouble finding the location initially. Overall, it was a good experience with friendly staff who were accommodating and helpful.

My room was lovely, featuring a comfy double bed and a well-equipped bathroom. Although everything was clean, it could have benefited from clearer signs for identification as there were times when others tried to enter. I also wished for a bit more privacy in the bathroom area.
Service

The staff were very kind and went out of their way to help, especially with arrangements for day trips and transfers. However, there was one incident that disrupted my experience when the owner insisted on cash payments instead of credit card charges, which felt unprofessional.

The Riad is conveniently located about a 5-10 minute walk from the busy Medina, which was great. However, I found it a bit tricky to locate at first, and a small signpost would have been helpful for newcomers.

I enjoyed the breakfast, which was a great start to my day. Although I didn't have dinner there, it looked amazing, and I appreciated the option to take breakfast on the go when I had early plans.

The Riad features a lovely plunge pool in the courtyard, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. They also provided various services, including arranging transportation and trips, which was a nice touch.

My stay at Riad La Caleche had its ups and downs. While the location was perfect and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, I encountered some issues that marred my experience. The atmosphere was enjoyable, but some aspects, like the room's condition and service timing, could use improvement.

I found my room to be comfortable and nicely decorated, but the air conditioning was annoyingly loud at times. I had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper, which was unexpected during my stay.

The staff were lovely and very helpful in most situations, going out of their way to assist. However, I found myself waiting quite a while for breakfast on two occasions, which was disappointing.

My stay at Riad La Caleche was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was perfect, right in the Medina and close to the main square, making it easy to explore. However, the room was pretty basic and lacked necessary amenities, which was disappointing. Also, the service was hit or miss - some moments were great, but others felt chaotic and frustrating.

My room was fair-sized but pretty dark, with just one main light. It lacked hooks for jackets or towels, making it feel a bit cramped. Overall, the room comfort didn't meet my expectations for the price.

While there were nice gestures from some staff, others, like Muley, were unprofessional at times. I felt there was a lack of consistency in service quality, which made things a bit confusing during my stay.

Breakfast was served on the lovely rooftop and had decent variety, but the execution left a bit to be desired. One morning, I struggled to get breakfast on time, which was frustrating before my flight.

The common areas were nice, especially the rooftop with a little pool, but I found the bathroom facilities lacking privacy. I didn't get to experience the spa heavily, which could offer some relaxing options.

My stay at Riad La Caleche & Spa was largely enjoyable, thanks to its friendly staff and comfortable environment. The location is perfect for exploring Marrakesh while still offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets. However, there were some inconveniences, such as issues with the bathroom privacy and the need for better communication regarding breakfast timing.
